Abstract:

Thermodynamic properties of all commonly used military gun propellants plus some experimental propellants are presented in tabular and graphical form. For the military propellants, these properties are given over a loading density ranging from 0.05 to 0.4 gmcc. Comparisons are made between the propellants on the basis of force and isochoric flame temperature. The tables and data presented herein can be used for gun design computations. Author
