Abstract:
This analysis was conducted to determine the mechanism of squall line formation and movement in two separate cases. These cases were selected because of the availability of composite radarscope photographs giving accurate descriptions of the developments, and because at the time of selection it was believed that they furnished excellent examples of nonfrontal squall lines.
