Abstract:

The concentration profile and the reaction rates of a postulated reaction scheme have been estimated. It is shown that the contributions of the rates of formation and decomposition of dominant species N2, O2, N, O, and NO involving these species only are greater by orders of magnitude than the contributions involving the added minor constituents N2O, NO2, NO3, and O3.
