Abstract:

A comparison is made between two simple electrohydrodynamic and magnetohydrodynamic systems involving a surface interaction in plane geometry. The surface dynamics are formulated in terms of the surface traction of Korteweg and Helmholtz Direct conversion of Heat to Electricity, M.I.T., 1960.
