Abstract:

The study demonstrated that acuity for moving targets is fairly good when test conditions permit the observer to achieve optimal tracking under relatively natural target viewing conditions. However, it has also been shown that target movement does have some detrimental effect on visual performance, this effect being marked under brief viewing conditions. Author
