Abstract:

The densit of liquid pentaborane from 15 to 115 C is described by the following equation d equals 0.6404 minus 0.000883 , where d is density in gmsml, and t is temperature in C. The viscosity of liquid pentaborane from 0 to 115 C is described by the following equation log eta equals 344.75T minus 1.45851, where eta is viscosity in centistokes, a d T is temperature in K. The solubilities of nitrogen, hydrogen and heli m in liquid pentaborane at 500, 1000 and 1500 psig from 30 to 150 C are shown. Author
