Abstract:

The investigation was conducted in the Langley 4- by 4-foot supersonic pressure tunnel. The missiles had cruciform wings and canard surfaces of delta planform with 70 degrees swept leading edges. Five models were tested with fineness ratios varying from 19.1 to 14.8. The tests covered an angle-of-attack range up to about 28 degrees for the complete configuration and various combinations of component parts. Author
