An analytic procedure is presented for calculating the angular distribution of gamma rays resulting from neutron capture in air. Numerical results are tabulated for four source-detector separation distances, eight angles of emission at the source, and fifteen initial neutron-energy groups. Agreement with Monte Carlo calculations is within the estimated accuracy of the Monte Carlo data. Author
