Pagination or Media Count:
Project Firefly 1960, the upper atmosphere chemical release program of the Geophysics Research Directorate, has provided a systematic study of several types of upper atmosphere perturbations. Reports on reduced and interpreted data from a number of optical and radio-frequency stations were prepared and published as a special GRD report. A preliminary crosscorrelation of that information is presented. The information consists of an introduction, special sections on missile trails and weapon effects, and sections on groups of releases night point electron, sunlit point electron, cesium trail, high explosive, electron removal, cobalt particles, hydrocarbon, and alumina particles.
