The platform was located about 15 mi south of Point Chevreuil and 8 mi west of Point AuFer, La. All measurements were made with a Bendix Friez water-level recorder Model FW-1 with a 136 gage height ratio. The mean monthly heights varied from 11.7 to 12.4 ft.
