The method of partial images has been successfully applied to electrostatic problems involving conductors on a dielectric substrate. This same method is investigated for its adaptation to dynamic problems. A Greens Function is derived and applied to the problem of a wire dipole antenna on a dielectric substrate. The input admittance of the antenna is computed by the method of moments. Experimentally measured values of input admittance are compared with the theoretical values and the error is discussed.
