Abstract : An analytical chemistry method is described for measuring the reactivity and permeation of fabrics, films, and other solid materials. Reactivity is measured using nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy with a high resolution magic angle spinning (solids) probe. Methods for sample preparation and interpretation of results are described.
