Abstract : This report describes progress to date on designing signals using algebraic and combinatorial methods. Mathematical tools from algebraic number theory, representation theory and group theory are employed to investigate the theory of their construction methods leading to new families of these arrays and some generalizations thereof. The major task of this project is to design signals based on small alphabet sets. The relevant research resulted in many papers that have been published based on this effort.
