Abstract : Robins Air Force Base (AFB) proposes disposition of the Chiefs' Circle residential structures in order to bring use of the Chiefs' Circle site into conformance with base realignment goals. The proposed disposition would reduce expenditures associated with the continued repair and maintenance of vacant and underutilized facilities. The five residential structures and associated carport outbuildings located at the Chiefs' Circle site are currently underutilized and do not match planned land use for the area. Three of the five residential structures are vacant, and the remaining structures are being used temporarily by the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) and as meeting/office space for the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and Cub Scouts. The 78th Civil Engineer Group, Asset Optimization Branch (78 CEG/CEAO), has prepared an Environmental Assessment (EA) to identify and evaluate potential effects of disposition of five residential structures and associated outbuildings located at the Chiefs' Circle historic district at Robins AFB. This EA is incorporated by reference into this finding.
