Abstract : Multiple preamble detectors are presented and applied to an SOQPSK-TG modulated signal in simulation. Multipath interference, additive white Gaussian noise, and frequency offsets are applied to the signal before detection is attempted. Simulation results are compared. A non-coherent post-detection integration (NCPDI) detector considered in this paper demonstrates the best detection performance for a reduced complexity.
