Abstract : The goals of this project were to synthesize, characterize and model bulk nanostructured composite materials for thermoelectric energy conversion applications. The objective was to produce materials which demonstrate an increase in intrinsic thermoelectric efficiency of a factor of two or more over existing commercially-available materials.
