Abstract : This SRP presents a review of efforts at security cooperation among the countries in the Arab Gulf. The described cases are from Kuwait, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and Oman. The focus of this report will be on ways in which these countries can enhance their individual security and culture through united action. The report will also consider developmental issues relating to the individual and collective security and goals of the countries under examination. Taking into account that Gulf Cooperation Council Council countries (GCCC) have a relatively short history of political and security cooperation, the data is expected to show a pattern of trial and error which nevertheless characterized by forward movement.
