Abstract : Our curriculum, while adapting to changing times, maintains its core purpose of study and research of the resources component of national power. Special emphasis is placed on materiel acquisition and joint logistics. By conducting in-depth examinations of 18 industry sectors-both at home and abroad-the Industry Studies Program allows ICAF students to assess industry's ability to support our national security strategy. The following pages comprise an assessment of each industry sector and are offered as part of the ongoing dialogue concerning the health of the industrial base. The 270 senior military and civilian students who contributed to this volume have brought a great deal of collective expertise and experience to the effort.
