Abstract : The objective of this research project was the development of a design strategy using software engineering methodologies to transition STAMIS applications from COBOL to Ada. This is the final report outlining the reverse engineering and redesign strategies for STAMISs as well as significant findings encountered during the actual transition process. This report constitutes the completion of Phase I of the transition project; the coding and implementation of the redesigned STAMIS will occur in succeeding phases....
