Abstract : This research focuses on developing new molecular knowledge and techniques to develop a greater understanding of microbial degradation processes in the environment. A major goal of this research is to create a molecular strategy for quantitative biodegradation process monitoring and control in the environment and to predict success and failure patterns impinging on biodegradation of hazardous waste materials.
