Abstract : Details are provided of research directed towards the development of the computer program WAKE for predicting the internal waves produced by the passage of a submarine in a density stratified ocean. The research was undertaken within DSTO during the period February-March 1992. The report takes the form of a series of appendices (presented in chronological order), which provide a record of the progress of the research during that period. Results are presented which indicate that a representative submarine produces internal waves which have a velocity magnitude of about one millimeter per second....
