China first successfully launched a missile of her own design in November of 1960. This signified a major step forward for China in missile technology. In the past 30 years, China's national defense science and technology workers have started out from scratch, worked energetically to make out country strong, done diligent research, and developed short range, intermediate range, long range models of strategic missile series with different capabilities.
