Abstract : The thrust of this project was to study the vibrational dynamics of infrared multiphoton excited (IRMPE) molecules in a free supersonic jet expansion using time-resolved broadband coherent anti-Stokes Raman spectroscopy (CARS). The work carried out is an extension of work previously carried out under ARO contract DAAG29-85-K-0060 which expired in February 1988.
