Abstract : This report provides a synopsis of research in several areas of optical communications and signal processing. The report is divided into sections on Spread Spectrum Techniques in Optical Communications Optical Controller for Phased Array Radar Using Neural Network Architectures; Two Dimensional Phased-Array Optic; Hybrid Optical/Electronic Nonlinear Optical Devices; and Image Recovery From Image Plane Arrays. Each subject area is treated individually with its own authors, synopsis, and conclusion. A summarization of papers and presentations which resulted from the research effort is provided at the end of the report.
