Abstract : This report documents a study to determine the most economic methods of supplying thermal and electrical energy to Picatinny Arsenal, NJ. Based on energy use patterns and the condition of existing equipment, 10 major potential energy supply alternatives were identified and evaluated. Most of the alternatives contain additional options for various fuels and electrical generation. Each alternative was evaluated on the basis of (1) availability of funds, (2) initial capital costs, and (3) annual O and M costs.
