Abstract : This study examines why Honduras did not fall victim to revolutionary violence in the 1980s and assesses the prospects for continued stability in the future. In addition, it draws attention to a number of trouble spots in U.S.-Honduran relations and suggests some lessons that can be learned by both sides based on the Honduran experience with non-revolution.
