Abstract : The focus of research was the application of systolic array architectures to computations in numerical linear algebra, and the applications of these architectures to digital signal processing and elliptic partial differential equations (PDE). Research was conducted on a number of topics: Matrix triangularization by systolic arrays; Singular value and eigenvalue computations; Elliptic PDE; and Updating Cholesky factorizations.
