Abstract : Existing Australian aerodynamic test facilities are reviewed with respect to their suitability to meet current and projected Defense needs. The deficiencies of the existing facilities are identified and new facilities proposed. This document is a compilation of views of the authors and of senior staff engaged in the management and practice of aerodynamics at the Aeronautical Research Laboratories and the Weapons Systems Research Laboratory.
