Abstract : This paper describes a three-part CC-DC-DE solution to USAF C2 challenges in A2/AD environments. This three-part solution includes the addition of a Regional Air Component Commander subordinate to the Theater JFACC, the physical distribution of USAF theater C2 systems, and the implementation of an adaptable Air Tasking Cycle. This solution will be explored over five sections in this paper. Sections one and two will frame the A2/AD problem, and then review research and historical solutions to A2/AD challenges. The focus of discussion will be in the third section when the CC-DC-DE solution is described at length. A counter argument against this solution will be proposed in section four and discussion will conclude with a rebuttal in section five.
