Abstract : The objective of this work has been to develop high fidelity acoustic scattering models that canquickly compute the acoustic color templates (backscattered target strength as a function of frequencyand aspect angle) for UXO targets. These models are used to design experiments, interpretcollected data and particularly identify features that can be used in classification.
