Abstract : We have developed an extensible NetLogo model for visualizing the operation of different routing protocols in the NetLogo environment. The model can accommodate a wide variety of message routing algorithms by providing methods to answer 2 questions: When 2 couriers come in contact, for each message not already shared, should this particular message be copied and transmitted to the other? If so, how many copies? To demonstrate the generalizability of the model, we present 3 different message-routing protocols: epidemic routing and the source and binary versions of Spray and Wait.
