Abstract : The purpose of this project is to conduct DoD high priority research in: vascular injury, pain, and airway management. These studies will extend evidenced-based prehospital interventions as well as populate the National Trauma Research Repository (NTRR). During the initial year, subcontracts have been issued, IRB approvals were secured. One study has HRPO approval and is enrolling subjects and the other is pending HRPO approval. The trauma repository and airway simulator projects are on schedule. There are no major finding or results at this time.
