Abstract : Implementing the ambulatory electroencephalograph (EEG) system can expedite potentially emergent results, reduce patients time spent in the hospital, eliminate the need for specialized technicians to administer the electrodes, reduce the bulky EEG equipment that takes up space and limited resources, and eliminate the need for a specialized physician to be present at the site to read the EEG report. This use case analysis details the processes involved with the ambulatory EEG concerning traumatic brain injuries and advises on the best uses of the device for naval medicine.
