Abstract : No one challenges the massive potential of Additive Manufacturing (AM) for high-tech aerospace components. It is a cost-effective, tool-less production that can address many current Air Force supply chain challenges. It also can reduce weight through lightweight design while potentially improving performance and reducing cost.
