Abstract : This report summarizes the research progress in the project Integrating SHM and Time-Variant System Performance of Naval Ship Structures for Near Real-Time Decision Making under Uncertainty: A Comprehensive Framework. The work began on December 1st, 2011 with an intensive review of existing literature and practice regarding structural health monitoring (SHM), time-variant performance and reliability of naval ship structures, updating techniques, and decision making under uncertainty.
