Abstract : Orthodontic treatment goals usually include an Ideal class I occlusion and skeletal relationship. Cephalometric analysis can be used in this quest. This technique, though, does not take into account the soft tissue profile. L. F. Andrews theorized that the forehead position should be used as a reference because it is external and does not move during the course of surgical treatment. The goal of this study is to determine whether changes in patient's forehead will affect evaluators' subjective ratings of facial attractiveness.
