Abstract : The major achievement of this grant was the construction and setup of an array of superconducting nanowire single photondetectors (SNSPDs) which allowed support of quantum photonics experiments leading to 14 peer-reviewed publications.We installed and tested several SNSPDs in various configurations, moving toward four-element (four detectors per spot)assemblies achievable in the next year or so. Detector efficiencies varied from 70 to 90 , close to the current worldrecord of 93 at the target wavelength of 1.5 um. Experiments supported include first demonstration of blind quantum computing, experimental verification of quantum computers, experimental boson sampling, and several other areas.
