Abstract : The equations for a simulation of planet artificial satellite orbit parameter estimation are defined. The estimation process consists of sequential linear differential correction based on Earth-based radar doppler measurements and/or on-board measurements of the direction of planet local vertical. The parameter set includes the Keplerian elements of the satellite orbit relative to the planet, planet and Sun gravitational constants, and components of the position and velocity of the planet and Earth relative to the Sun.
