Abstract : The mechanical behavior of polyurethane rubber filled with granular potassium chloride was investigated by subjecting tubular specimens to oscillatory torsion. The response of the material was studied to variation of frequency and amplitude of the imposed strain as well as to variation of the temperature. Beside the measurement of the storage and loss moduli, the normal forces are observed and the second order moduli, the cross-elasticity and the crossviscosity moduli are evaluated. (Author)
