Abstract : Meteorologists who support the research, development, test, and evaluation of aerospace systems must also have a thorough understanding of the effects of the natural environment. Furthermore, this requirement for knowledge of natural environmental effects does not diminish when an aerospace system enters the operational phase. For these reasons, this pamphlet is being distributed to field units with the expectation that it will help achieve understanding of solar effects on the natural environment.
