Abstract : This report describes the tests conducted on five specific wire configurations with blasting caps attached, for the purpose of determining their antenna characteristics. These configurations were formed from insulated wire similar to that furnished with M6 Blasting Caps. The five configurations were tested to determine their receiving characteristics by measuring (with suitable instrumentation) the current flowing in the bridgewire of the blasting cap as the result of electromagnetic energy abstracted by the antenna from the impinging field.
