Abstract : This study was conducted in order to compare experimental dispersion results with theoretical computations for rockets where the wind dispersion contributes over 50 % of the total dispersion. Areas are determined in which computational improvements can be made to give greater accuracy in predicting the impact of future vertical probe rocket launchings. Conclusions and recommendations are derived which are applicable to the subsequent improvement of theoretical computations. (Author)
