Abstract : This project is composed of four different but related tasks. These are (1) Information Contents of Time Continuous Processes. (2) Visual Pattern Recognition by Moment Invariants. (3) Control and Communication Systems in the Blood. (4) Experiments on the Use of Threshold Logic for Learning Machines. All four are summarized in Part I. A theoretical systematic study of pattern recognition by moment invariants is presented in Part II, and the associated experimental studies are given in Part III. Finally, a brief description of Threshold Logic is appended in Part IV. (Author)
