Abstract : Equations are given for the motion of an aircraft with a jet engine with variable mass and moments of inertia. The position of the engine and tanks of fuel mixture are considered relative to the center of gravity of the aircraft. For an increase of damping of an aircraft it is expedient to place the jet engine behind the center of gravity at a significant distance.
