Abstract : Progress was made in curing copolymers of CF2=CFCl/CF2=CH2 (X-300 series) with diisocyanates. The 30/70 molar copolymer was as oil-resistant as the 50/50 and offered a 6-9 deg C advantage in TR-70 temperature; the 62/38 product was not notably rubber-like. Stepwise exposure of MDI vucanizates of X- 300 to higher temperatures produced a material which was serviceable up to 537 deg F.
