Abstract : An evaluation was made of the impact sensitivity and functioning delay of the T-2025 nose fuze developed for use with the 2.75-in.-thick HE folding-fin aircraft rocket. The T-2025 fuzes were not sensitive enough to function on less than 0.25-in.-thick 24ST Al targets set at 0 deg obliquity at 2000 ft/sec. One of 3 rounds fired at 0.25 in.-thick Al target at 1800 ft/sec had a high-order detonation with a delay of less than 6 in. Two of 4 rounds fired at 0.5-in. Al plate detonated high order, one with a delay of less than 6 in. and the other with a delay of less than 2 ft.
