Abstract : Resistor varnish formulations and methods of production and application are discussed. Oil-based resins require more apparatus and more effort in preparation than oil-free resins. Apparatus for spraying volatile liquids is cumbersome and complex, but reproducible results are obtainable. Printing machines provide comparatively simple and clean operation.
